We’re hosting a fundraising Trivia Night to support the launch of the AOEC Youth Committee — and we’d love for you to join us.

Many of you know the Anti-Oppression Educators Collective (AOEC) as a community of 300+ educators across B.C. working toward justice, equity, and liberation inside and outside our classrooms. Now, we’re expanding this work by creating space for youth leadership within our collective.

In 2026, we are launching the AOEC Youth Committee designed to ensure that young people whose voices are essential to true anti-oppressive work, have a real, meaningful seat at the table. Their leadership, vision, and lived experience are not just valuable; they are vital.

Expect fun questions, on-brand themed rounds, good energy, and great prizes. We’ll also have raffle items and a prize for the winning team from some amazing community donors. All funds raised go directly toward building and sustaining the Youth Committee.
